How long do the JBL T215 last?
5 hours of playback per charge and 25 hours in total with the case. A full charge takes less than 2 hours. The case holds a 660 mAh reserve, compared with 55 mAh per earbud: it is the case that carries you through the day.
Can you keep one earbud in while the other charges?
Yes, that is the principle of Dual Connect: you can use one earbud or both, either way, and the one you are not using charges in the case. It is the simplest way to extend your listening over a long day.
Does the case open easily with one hand?
That is the point that was worked on: the case has a pebble shape with a curved lid, designed to open with one hand. A detail that matters when you take the earbuds out while walking, with a bag in the other hand.
How good are the 6 mm drivers?
A small diameter, offset by a high sensitivity of 108 dB at 1 kHz at 14 ohms, with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a maximum sound pressure level of 95 dB. The signature remains JBL Pure Bass sound, with punchy bass.
Can you take calls with these earbuds?
Yes, hands-free, and you can also access the connected device's voice assistant directly from the earbud. The microphone has a sensitivity of -30 dBV/Pa at 1 kHz.
Are they light to wear?
5.4 g per earbud, i.e. 10.8 g for the pair. The case weighs 51.3 g, for a total of 62.1 g that fits in a pocket. The stated maximum operating temperature is 45 °C.
Are these JBL earbuds new and under warranty?
