1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the AT2020 work plugged straight into a computer?
No: it is a balanced XLR condenser mic, which requires +48 V phantom power. It therefore needs an audio interface or a mixing desk able to supply it.
What does the AT2020's large diaphragm bring?
It flatters the voice, spoken or sung, with a response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a 124 dB dynamic range. This is the signature of studio mics, as opposed to small instrument capsules.
Can the AT2020 handle a guitar amp or a drum kit?
Yes: it handles up to 144 dB SPL, which lets it take a guitar amp or a snare drum. It is stated to be suited to vocals as well as acoustic instruments.
Does the AT2020 pick up room noise?
Its front pickup keeps out room noise: the cardioid capsule captures what is in front of it and rejects the sides. Useful in a living space, which is rarely acoustically treated.
What is in the Audio-Technica AT2020 box?
