Frequently asked questions about this product

How does sound reach your ear without anything inside it?
Through bone conduction: vibrations travel through the cheekbones to the inner ear, with nothing placed in the ear canal. Your ears therefore stay free — you hear the road, other swimmers or traffic while listening to your music.
Can you really swim with the AquaSport?
Yes: they are rated IPX8, the highest water rating in the standard, which covers immersion and not just splashes. They are explicitly designed for the pool and open water, as well as for sweat and rain.
Do you need to take your phone to listen to music while swimming?
No: an MP3 player is built into the earbuds, with room to store up to 2,000 tracks in memory. You swim without your phone and even without Bluetooth — a necessity, since water blocks the wireless connection anyway.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 11 hours of battery life. It is a runtime designed for training: several swimming or running sessions without recharging in between, which the neckband design makes possible with a bigger battery than in miniature earbuds.
Do they stay in place during exercise?
The neckband design is chosen precisely for that: the band goes behind the neck and the transducers rest on the cheekbones, with nothing that can fall out of the ear. Nothing to readjust mid-run, on the bike or between two lengths.
Can you take a call with the AquaSport?
Yes: a mic is built in and the connection uses Bluetooth 5.4, stated to be fast and stable. Enough to answer between two sets without taking your phone out of your bag pocket.
Which sports are these earbuds designed for?
Four uses are targeted: running, cycling, swimming and open water. What the first two have in common is safety — keeping your ears open to traffic — and what the last two share is being waterproof against immersion.
