3 years manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the CX 6100 24G JL678A power devices over PoE?
No: this model number is the non-PoE version. Its 24 Gigabit ports carry data only, and the 4 SFP+ slots are used for uplinks. A PoE device therefore requires an injector, or the Class 4 PoE model in the same series.
What speed do this model's 4 uplinks reach?
They are 1G/10G SFP+ slots: you start with a Gigabit module and then move up to 10 Gigabit without changing switches. Latency drops to 1.8 µs on a 10G link, compared with 1.5 µs on a Gigabit copper port.
How is this switch configured remotely?
Through Aruba Central, in the cloud or on-premises: single dashboard, remote configuration, automated updates. Locally, the web interface and command line remain available, and a REST API lets you automate changes in bulk.
How many VLANs can be active simultaneously on a CX 6100?
512 active VLANs, with IDs taken from the full 802.1Q range. LACP link aggregation allows up to eight groups, and 802.1p/DiffServ quality of service prioritises voice and video on busy links.
Can this switch route between several subnets?
Yes, with static routing for IPv4 and IPv6, with a dual stack that runs both protocols in parallel. Traffic between VLANs then stays within the switch, without going up to the router — useful at a site where the uplink is under heavy load.
Is there console access to regain control off the network?
Yes, through a USB-C console port, complemented by a USB Type-A host port for a configuration or firmware USB flash drive. A simple laptop USB-C cable is therefore enough to open the console, with no serial adapter.
Does the switch software require a subscription?
No: the embedded software is activated without a subscription. Deployment uses Zero Touch Provisioning — the switch retrieves its own configuration the first time it is powered on —, so a prepared device can be shipped to a site without sending a technician there.
What internal performance does this 24-port model offer?
128 Gbps switching capacity and 95.2 Mpps, with an 8,192-entry MAC address table and 4 GB of DDR3 memory on a dual-core Arm Cortex-A9 processor at 1,016 MHz. The sizing covers the 24 copper ports and the 4 10 Gigabit links simultaneously.
How much rack space does this switch take up, and how much power does it draw?
44.2 × 20.1 × 4.4 cm and 2.6 kg, i.e. 1U with a depth of only 20 cm: it fits in a wall-mount cabinet. Its power supply is a built-in fixed module, and consumption peaks at 33 W without PoE, on a 100-127 or 200-240 V input.
Does this chassis have fans?
Yes, cooling is provided by fans: only the compact 12-port model in the CX family has a fanless design. Plan for a rack or a network room rather than an office where people work, and keep the side-to-side airflow clear.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
