Is the lens on the Epson EB-PU1008B fixed?
No, it is interchangeable: the body accepts a wide range of lenses, from ultra-short-throw to telephoto. It is the choice of lens that determines the throw distance required, not the other way round — so the projector adapts to the venue, including for a temporary installation.
What do the EB-PU1008B's 8,500 lumens make possible?
Projecting in a museum, a lobby or a lit room without losing colour, with a contrast ratio above 5,000,000:1. The resolution is native WUXGA, complemented by 4K enhancement for high-definition content.
Can two EB-PU1008B projectors be stacked to double the brightness?
Yes, and without a computer: the optional external camera module performs the stacking automatically by overlaying the two images. The Epson Projector Professional Tool software handles edge blending and geometric correction.
Does the EB-PU1008B need a computer connected at all times?
No. Its built-in media player plays content directly from a USB flash drive: for an exhibition or a shop-window display running on a loop, the projector works on its own, with no machine left switched on beside it.
