Grandstream GWN7701P unmanaged Gigabit switch: 8 Gigabit ports, 4 of them PoE+, to power IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points and IP phones straight through the network cable, with no mains socket needed nearby.
PoE: the first 4 RJ45 ports comply with IEEE 802.3af/at, delivering up to 30 W per port within a 60 W PoE budget — ideal for powering two to four network devices at once without any extra electrical wiring. All 8 ports run at Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbit/s.
Form factor: rugged metal casing (190 × 100 × 28 mm) that sits on a desk or mounts on a wall — understated and solid for an office or a small business.

How many of the GWN7701P's ports are PoE-powered?
Four out of eight. These four ports deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, within a total budget of 60 W. The other four Gigabit ports carry data only.
Does this switch require any configuration?
No: it is unmanaged and ready to use. It powers devices and switches traffic as soon as it is switched on, with no interface or settings. Auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX take care of the rest.
Does this switch handle video traffic properly?
Yes: IGMP snooping sends multicast streams only to the ports that request them, instead of flooding all eight ports. IEEE 802.3x flow control limits packet loss when a port is saturated.
Where can this switch be installed?
On a desk or mounted on a wall: the metal casing measures 190 × 100 × 28 mm. Metal dissipates heat better than plastic, which matters on a model that powers four devices over PoE.
What internal performance does this 8-port model offer?
16 Gbps of switching capacity, i.e. line rate on all eight Gigabit ports. That is the sizing you would expect from a supplementary switch powering a few cameras or access points in a room.
