Frequently asked questions about this product

What are this switch's two dual-connector ports?
Two ports that can be used as Gigabit copper or SFP fibre, never both at once: these are the uplinks. The other 24 ports are 10/100 Mbps.
Is this switch IPv6-ready?
Yes, IPv6 is supported, alongside IGMP snooping and DHCP snooping. The migration can therefore be made without replacing the equipment, which matters on an access switch that is meant to last.
How many VLANs does this switch support?
Up to 255 VLANs, with the Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) to negotiate trunk links between switches automatically. Multiple Spanning Tree (MSTP) handles redundant topologies.
How is administrative access secured?
Through SSH, with RADIUS or TACACS+ authentication and SSL-protected web access. DHCP snooping also blocks an address server plugged into a socket by mistake.
