L2 managed rack-mountable switch with 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports and 4 × 1G SFP uplinks for business networks that need centralised power and fibre uplinks.
The NBS3100-24GT4SFP-PV2 features 24 PoE+ 802.3af/at RJ45 ports and 4 × 1G SFP ports for connections to the network core. The overall PoE budget reaches 370 W, enough to power Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones simultaneously.
Non-blocking switching reaches 56 Gbps / 42 Mpps, with a 4.1 Mbit buffer and an 8,000-entry MAC table. 6 kV surge protection. Management via Ruijie Cloud enables 802.1Q VLAN, STP/RSTP, IGMP snooping and storm control.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How are the 370 W of PoE+ shared across 24 ports?
370 W shared by all 24 ports, all 10/100/1000 PoE+. Twenty-four cameras at 12 W consume less than 300 W; around fifteen power-hungry Wi-Fi access points use up the budget. Power is carried over data pairs 1-2 and 3-6.
How much electrical power does this switch require?
443 W maximum at full PoE load, compared with 21 W with no powered devices at all, on a 100-240 V, 6 A input. The power supply is built in: a mains power cord is all you need, but size the UPS for the actual load.
How many VLANs does this switch support?
4,094 VLANs, across the full ID range, with port-based VLANs and voice VLAN. The MAC address table holds 8,000 entries, the ARP table 1,000, and jumbo frames go up to 9,216 bytes.
How does the switch protect the network from a loop?
With STP and RSTP, with PortFast, BPDU guard and automatic recovery of error-disabled ports, backed up by the RLDP protocol, loop prevention and loop notification. The ERPS protocol (G.8032) covers ring topologies.
How many filtering rules can be written?
1,200 entries, applied to incoming traffic — nothing on outgoing traffic. Three types coexist: standard IP list, extended MAC address list and extended IP list, backed up by per-port rate limiting on both ingress and egress.
Can the local web interface be accessed over HTTPS?
Yes, both HTTP and HTTPS are supported, with web authentication, and monitoring is also available via SNMP v1, v2c and v3. Remotely, Ruijie Cloud and the Reyee app round out the set-up.
What happens if a powered camera freezes?
The PoE watchdog power-cycles the port to restart it, and a usage alarm flags abnormal consumption. Camera detection, for its part, identifies the video surveillance devices connected.
Is this chassis noisy, and how much space does it take up?
Two speed-controlled fans, for a noise level below 45 dB, with left-to-right airflow. The chassis measures 440 × 293 × 44 mm and weighs 4.5 kg net, i.e. 1U in 19-inch format.
What electrical protection does this switch offer?
6 kV common-mode on the ports and 6 kV common-mode and differential-mode on the power supply. The stated mean time between failures reaches 400,000 hours, and the operating altitude goes up to 5,000 m.
What is in the box with this switch?
Two mounting brackets, six M4 screws, four feet, the manual and the warranty card — the power supply being built into the chassis. The optical modules for the four SFP slots must be purchased separately.
Is the switch new, and where can I view its datasheet?
