Yes, new, sold with its invoice serving as the warranty document. The manufacturer covers the device for 1 year.
Do I need a separate PoE injector to power my cameras or Wi-Fi access points?
No. Each of the 24 Gigabit ports has built-in PoE+ (802.3at) power, up to 30 W per port, within the limit of the 400 W total budget shared across all ports.
Do powered devices go down when the switch restarts?
No. Perpetual PoE keeps the ports powered during a reboot or an update, and Fast PoE restores power within a few seconds when the switch is powered back on, instead of the usual 1 to 3 minutes.
Can this switch be connected to the rest of the network at 10 Gbps?
Yes, via its 4 SFP+ 10 Gbps ports dedicated to uplinks to a core switch or a server, separate from the 24 Gigabit ports intended for workstations and PoE devices.
Can this switch route traffic between several VLANs?
No, it is a pure Layer 2 switch: it segments the network into VLANs, up to 4,094 of them, but does not route traffic between them. That function requires a separate Layer 3 device.
Do you need a subscription to manage this switch with the HUAWEI eKit app?
No. The HUAWEI eKit app is free to set up, in either cloud or fully local mode, as you prefer. The switch can also be managed without it, via the web interface, CLI or SSH v2.0.
Is this switch silent enough to sit on a desk in an open-plan office?
No. Its active cooling, with automatically adjusted fan speed, does not make it a silent desktop unit. It belongs in a rack or a wiring closet rather than in an open room.
Can it be installed in a wiring closet without air conditioning?
Yes, its operating range is -5 °C to +50 °C, which covers most wiring closets in Morocco without dedicated air conditioning.
How much space does it take up in a server rack?
