1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this switch new, with a manufacturer's warranty?
Yes, new, sold with its invoice serving as the warranty document. The manufacturer covers it for 1 year.
Is the 380 W PoE budget enough to power all 48 ports at once?
Each PoE+ port can deliver up to 30 W, but the total budget of 380 W is shared between the 48 ports: powering 48 devices at full power simultaneously would exceed this budget, so the load has to be spread according to each device's actual needs.
Do cameras and access points stay powered if the switch restarts?
Yes. Perpetual PoE keeps the power on during a reboot or an update, and Fast PoE restores it within a few seconds at power-up, instead of the usual 1 to 3 minutes.
What is the uplink to the network core?
4 dedicated SFP+ 10 Gbps ports, separate from the 48 Gigabit ports intended for workstations and PoE devices, for a total switching capacity of 176 Gbps.
Does this switch route between VLANs?
No, it is a pure Layer 2 switch: it creates and segments up to 4,094 VLANs but does not route traffic between them. That function requires a separate Layer 3 device.
Are the power cord and rack-mount brackets included?
Yes, the switch comes with its power cord and its 19-inch rack-mount brackets, ready to be screwed into the rack.
Do you need a subscription to manage this switch remotely?
No. The HUAWEI eKit app is free to set up in cloud or local mode, and the switch can also be managed without it, via the web interface, CLI or SSH v2.0.
Can it be installed in a wiring closet without air conditioning?
Yes, its operating range is -5 °C to +50 °C, suitable for most wiring closets in Morocco without dedicated air conditioning.
How much rack space does this 48-port switch take up?
A standard 19-inch 1U height despite its 48 ports, measuring 442 × 220 × 43.6 mm and weighing approximately 4.29 kg with its packaging.
