Is the power adapter supplied with the NWA50AX?

Yes, the box contains a power adapter, a mounting plate and the screws. You can therefore install the access point even without a PoE switch, or power it from a PoE+ 802.3at port if you have one.

How much power does the NWA50AX consume?

16 W on an 802.3at port. Factor this into your switch's PoE budget, especially if several access points are connected to it — the figure exceeds what a standard PoE port can supply.

Is switching from local management to the Nebula cloud free of charge?

No: with NebulaFlex, the access point switches freely between its local web interface and the Nebula cloud, with no licence to buy for this change of mode. That is the principle of the range.

What throughput does the NWA50AX deliver?

1,200 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, i.e. the AX1800 class of Wi-Fi 6. MU-MIMO serves several devices in parallel rather than one after the other.

Can two NWA50AX access points be linked without a cable between them?

Yes, the Smart Mesh feature lets an access point connect to the network wirelessly. It must still be powered on site, and 802.11r, k and v fast roaming moves devices from one access point to another without interruption.

Does the NWA50AX withstand interference from a mobile network?

Yes, it has built-in 4G and 5G interference filters, which reduce interference from nearby mobile masts. Rogue access point detection and MAC address filtering round out security.

How much ceiling space does the NWA50AX take up?

140 × 140 × 37.5 mm, with internal antennas — nothing sticks out of the enclosure. The mounting plate and screws are supplied, along with the power adapter.

In what conditions does the NWA50AX operate?

Indoors, between 0 and 50 °C — ten degrees more headroom than the average office access point, which allows for a poorly ventilated equipment room or a hot false ceiling.

Does the NWA50AX support WPA3?

Yes, WPA3 encryption is supported, along with rogue access point detection and MAC address filtering. That is the level expected of a modern business network.

Is the equipment new and under warranty?

Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. The access point comes with its power adapter and mounting plate, ready to install with no additional accessories.
