Does the NWA130BE broadcast on all three bands at the same time?
Yes, it is tri-band with two streams per band, i.e. six streams in total: up to 5,764 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4,324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The three radios work in parallel, spreading devices out instead of concentrating them.
What does Wi-Fi 7 MLO bring to this access point?
Multi-Link Operation lets a compatible device use several bands at the same time instead of choosing one: throughput adds up and latency drops, with one band taking over when the other is disrupted.
What power supply does the NWA130BE need?
A PoE+ 802.3at port: its power consumption reaches 24 W, well beyond the 15.4 W of a standard PoE port. A single network cable carries both power and data, with no electrical outlet needed on the ceiling.
Why does the NWA130BE have two 2.5 Gbps ports?
Because its three radios far exceed Gigabit speeds: a standard port would become the bottleneck. The two 1/2.5 Gbps ports let you aggregate the link or serve a second fast wired device from the access point.
Do you need a controller or a subscription to manage the NWA130BE?
No: with NebulaFlex, the access point runs in standalone mode, managed locally, or in Nebula cloud mode. You can switch freely from one to the other, without any dedicated controller hardware.
Does the NWA130BE withstand interference from a mobile relay?
Yes, it features a 4G and 5G interference filter, which reduces interference from nearby mobile networks. This is useful in a building fitted with an indoor mobile relay or close to a cell tower.
Does the connection hold when moving between several access points?
Yes: roaming relies on 802.11r, 802.11k and 802.11v. The device switches to the neighbouring access point without re-authenticating, which keeps a call or a video conference going. WPA3 encryption is also supported.
Is the equipment new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. The access point is ceiling-mounted, indoors, and connects via a single network cable that powers it at the same time.
