How many access points does this EAP613 pack contain?

Five identical access points, to be spread across several rooms or floors. They are configured all at once from the Omada platform, which saves having to set them up one by one.

What area do the five access points cover?

Up to 115 m² per access point, or about 575 m² in total if they are well positioned. This figure assumes an unobstructed ceiling: thick partitions and reinforced concrete reduce it, hence the value of a site survey before finalising the layout.

How many devices does each access point in the pack serve?

More than 250 concurrent devices per access point, with 1,201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. OFDMA and MU-MIMO serve them within the same time slot rather than one after another.

How do you power the access points in this pack?

Over the network cable with 802.3af PoE, with passive PoE, or with a 12 V power adapter. A standard PoE switch is therefore enough for all five access points — simply check the switch's total PoE budget.

Does the connection drop when moving from one access point to another?

No, the five access points provide seamless roaming between them: the device switches to the nearest one without the session being interrupted. They also support mesh, to cover an area that no cable reaches.

Do the five access points have to be configured one by one?

No, Omada zero-touch provisioning adopts and configures them in batch: you plug them in, and the configuration propagates. This is what makes this pack attractive on a site with several rooms or floors.

Do these access points support WPA3 and a guest network?

Yes: WPA3 encryption, a separate guest network and up to 16 SSIDs per access point, with a VLAN assigned to each network. Rogue access point detection flags any unauthorised access point within range.

How are these ceiling access points installed?

Installation locks into place with a simple twist on its bracket, on the ceiling or the wall. Each access point has a Gigabit Ethernet port and 5 dBi internal omnidirectional antennas, fully housed within the white enclosure.

Is the equipment new and under warranty?

Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year, for all five access points in the pack. They are CE, FCC and RoHS certified and fit into the Omada ecosystem alongside the range's switches and gateways.
