Yes: one radio on 2.4 GHz, two separate radios on 5 GHz and one on 6 GHz. Speeds reach 1,148 Mbps, 2,402 Mbps and 4,804 Mbps, for 11,000 Mbps combined — the fastest access point in the category.

Why does the EAP690E HD have a 10 Gbps port?

Because its four radios add up to 11 Gbps: even a 2.5 Gbps port would be overwhelmed. The 10 Gbps port removes this ceiling entirely, provided you have a switch that can keep up — a cost to factor into the budget.

What power supply do you need for the EAP690E HD?

PoE++ 802.3bt, or a 12 V / 4.5 A DC power supply on its dedicated input. A standard PoE+ port is not enough for an access point of this calibre: check that your switch really delivers 802.3bt before ordering.

How many devices can the EAP690E HD serve?

Up to 2,000 simultaneous devices — the highest figure in the category. That is what makes it suited to convention centres, airports and large halls, where several thousand devices move around.

What does the EAP690E HD's 6 GHz band bring?
