A high-power online UPS for critical infrastructure: online double conversion, 6000 VA / 6000 W, tower format. Technology & protection: power is fully and continuously regenerated — your equipment never touches the mains, with no transfer time. Maximum protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise, even in harsh environments. Power: 6000 VA for 6000 W of real power — enough to run several servers and network equipment. Pure sine wave; extended runtime to ride out prolonged outages. Supplied with management software and a USB cable for automatic system shutdown. Designed, for example, for servers and critical business infrastructure. Remember to check how much power your equipment draws and to choose the rating according to the runtime you need.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Is the battery pack supplied with the SRV6KIL?
Yes, an external battery pack and its cable are delivered with the UPS: that is what the “L” in the reference stands for, meaning extended runtime. The box also contains a USB cable, an RS-232 cable and the manual.
How is the SRV6KIL connected to the electrical installation?
To a 3-wire terminal block — phase, neutral, earth: there is no outlet on the unit. It is fixed wiring, to be entrusted to an electrician, with a dedicated circuit to prepare at the distribution board before delivery.
Does this 6 kVA unit really deliver 6000 W?
Yes: the 6000 VA correspond to 6000 W, i.e. a power factor of 1. All of the apparent power is available in watts, which is not the case with UPS units where the gap reaches 40%.
What quality of power does the SRV6KIL deliver?
A pure sine wave with 1% harmonic distortion, continuously regenerated by double conversion, with an efficiency of 94% at full load.
What input voltage range does the UPS accept?
176 to 300 V at full load, on a nominal voltage of 230 V. This wide range lets it ride through a very degraded grid without drawing on the batteries at every voltage dip.
Can the UPS be serviced without powering down the equipment?
Yes, an automatic and manual internal bypass keeps power flowing: the automatic one in the event of a fault, the manual one for scheduled servicing. Conversely, an emergency power-off button cuts everything in a single action.
How long does it take to recharge the SRV6KIL batteries?
5 hours for a full recharge, on 220 V VRLA sealed lead-acid batteries. Until recharging is complete, the available runtime remains below the rated value.
Where should the SRV6KIL be installed, and how much does it weigh?
73 kg in a floor-standing tower format, with a noise level of 55 dB: it is a fan-cooled unit, best kept to a technical room. It takes several people to handle, and the floor must bear the load.
Is the APC Easy UPS SRV6KIL new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. USB and RS-232 cables are included for automatic server shutdown, and a free slot lets you add a network management card. The datasheet covers the rest.
All the power available in watts: 10,000 W usable, as many as the VA. Around 7 minutes of runtime at half load (5000 W) to shut down a full rack cleanly, in only 4U.
Three reinforced 16 A outlets for power-hungry hardware, eight server outlets, and batteries that are changed without cutting the power. Under 40 dB at one metre, in a rack as in a tower.
•8 C13 outlets: the format of computer and server power cords
For a whole infrastructure: 9 minutes of runtime at half load (5000 W) and 5 minutes at 70%, the time it takes to switch over to a generator. 94% efficiency at full load and internal bypass.
A maintenance bypass supplied as standard allows the UPS to be replaced without shutting down the equipment it powers. Around 15 minutes of runtime at half load (4 000 W), extendable with four battery cabinets.
•Around 15 minutes of runtime at half load (4 000 W)
