What is the NWA110BE's BandFlex radio?
Its second radio can be configured for 5 GHz or 6 GHz, as you choose. You match it to your current 5 GHz coverage today, and switch to 6 GHz when your devices justify it — without changing hardware.
What happens if the NWA110BE is connected to an 802.3af PoE port?
Wi-Fi does not work: 802.3af is explicitly listed as “without wireless”. You need a PoE+ 802.3at port — or 802.3bt — for unrestricted operation. The access point draws 21.5 W.
Can the NWA110BE be powered other than by PoE?
Yes, it accepts power from a USB-C charger, a flexibility rarely found on this type of access point: it lets you run it temporarily without a PoE switch, for a test or a temporary installation.
What difference does the 4x4 on the NWA110BE's 5/6 GHz radio make?
Two more antennas than 2×2+2×2 access points in the same class: the signal reaches further and more devices are served in parallel. Data rates reach 5,764 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4,324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
What does Wi-Fi 7 MLO bring to this access point?
Multi-Link Operation lets a compatible device use several bands at the same time: throughput adds up and latency drops, with one band taking over when the other suffers interference.
Why does the NWA110BE have a 2.5 Gbps port?
Because its radio far exceeds Gigabit speeds: with more than 5 Gbps on the wireless side, a 1 Gbps port would become the bottleneck. The port negotiates 1 or 2.5 Gbps depending on the switch at the other end, and it is also the port that receives PoE.
How does the NWA110BE keep the 5 and 6 GHz bands apart?
With a dedicated radio filter: as the two bands sit close together in the spectrum, this filter prevents them from interfering with each other when the access point is running at full power. This is what makes it possible to use 6 GHz without degrading 5 GHz.
Do you need a controller to manage the NWA110BE?
No: with NebulaFlex, the access point runs in standalone mode or in Nebula cloud mode, as you prefer, without a dedicated hardware controller. You can switch from one to the other at any time.
How does the NWA110BE distribute devices across its bands?
Through load balancing and smart client steering, which direct each device to the band best suited to its signal. 802.11r, k and v fast roaming then keeps the connection going between access points.
Does the NWA110BE support enterprise authentication?
Yes, with WPA3 and 802.1X and RADIUS: each user authenticates against a server, without a shared key. The ZyMesh feature also lets you link two access points without a cable between them.
How much ceiling space does the NWA110BE take up?
250 × 160 mm: a compact rectangular enclosure, designed for indoor use, ceiling-mounted. It operates at up to 95% non-condensing humidity, which allows it to be installed in a poorly ventilated room.
Is the equipment new and under warranty?
