Is a power supply included with the Instant On AP11?

No, power sources are ordered separately: an 802.3af PoE port — the most common option, via a switch — or a 12 V mains adapter. The access point needs only a network cable if your switch provides PoE.

Are mounting clips included with the AP11?

Yes, the access point comes with two clips: a black one for suspended ceiling rails and a white one for a flat surface, wall or ceiling. The housing measures 152 × 152 × 34 mm and weighs only 193 g.

What data rate does the AP11 deliver?

867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, in Wi-Fi 5 Wave 2 with 2×2 MU-MIMO. That suits a small office, a shop or a practice — not a high-density open-plan floor.

Do you need a controller or a subscription to manage the AP11?

No, everything is managed from the Instant On mobile app or a cloud portal, with no controller or server. That is the principle of the range: deploying a professional network in a few minutes, without networking expertise.

Does the AP11 support WPA3?

Yes, with WPA2 and WPA3, as well as Enhanced Open, which encrypts sessions on an open network without a password. A guest network separate from the staff network can be created from the app.

Can you add an access point where no network cable reaches?

Yes, Smart Mesh technology lets an access point connect to the network wirelessly. It still needs power on site, but no cabling has to be run to it — handy for covering a storeroom or another floor.

Are the AP11's antennas visible?

No, they are internal and omnidirectional, with a peak gain of 3.3 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 5.8 dBi on 5 GHz. Nothing protrudes from the very compact white housing.

What connectors does the AP11 have?

A PoE-compatible Gigabit Ethernet uplink port, a Bluetooth Low Energy radio and a Kensington lock slot against theft — useful in a shop or a space open to the public.

In what conditions does the AP11 operate?

Indoors, between 0 and 40 °C. That is the standard range for an office access point: a ventilated technical room suits it, while an installation exposed to the weather calls for an outdoor model.

Is the equipment new and under warranty?
