Form factor: very compact white desktop enclosure, no rack required, low-voltage DC power supply — just 1.9 W power consumption. Discreet and economical. Can this small 5-port switch really be configured?
Yes: it has a web interface, with quality of service to prioritise voice and video and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) against loops. That is rare in such a compact form factor.
Are the ports Gigabit?
No: all five ports are 10/100 Mbps, full duplex. Switching capacity reaches 1.6 Gbps and the MAC address table 1,000 entries — the sizing of a supplementary switch for a small office.

What is the STP protocol for on this switch?
To stop a cabling loop from flooding the network: Spanning Tree detects the redundant path and blocks it. On a small switch that often gets moved around, it is a safeguard that prevents many unexplained outages.

104 × 70 × 22 mm: it slips behind a monitor or into a drawer. Rack mounting is not supported, and auto MDI/MDI-X means you need not worry about which type of cable is connected.
