A high-power online UPS for server rooms: online double conversion, 6000 VA / 6000 W, rack-mount. Technology & protection: power is continuously rebuilt — your equipment receives perfectly clean power without ever touching the mains, with zero transfer time. Maximum protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise, even in harsh environments. Power: 6000 VA for 6000 W of real power — enough to run several servers and network equipment. Rack-mount format for installation in a server rack; extended runtime to ride out prolonged outages. Supplied with management software and a USB cable for automatic system shutdown. Designed, for example, for server racks and critical business infrastructure. LCD display: shows load, battery level and remaining runtime at a glance — so you can monitor the UPS without any software. Remember to check how much power your equipment draws and to choose the rating according to the runtime you need.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Is the battery pack supplied with the SRV6KRIL?
Yes: an external battery pack and its cable are delivered with the UPS, which accounts for the extended runtime of this set. Two rack-mounting brackets and the USB and RS-232 cables are also in the box.
How is the SRV6KRIL connected to the power supply?
Through fixed wiring to a 3-wire terminal block — phase, neutral and earth. There is therefore no plug: installation requires an electrician, to be arranged before commissioning.
Does the SRV6KRIL really deliver 6000 W?
Yes: 6 kVA corresponds here to 6000 W, with all of the apparent power available in watts. Its efficiency reaches 94% at full load, which keeps down the electricity bill of a unit that runs around the clock.
How much rack space does the SRV6KRIL take up?
5U in height, 61.5 cm deep and 78 kg — and the battery pack comes on top of that. It goes at the bottom of the cabinet, on a floor able to bear that load.
Is the output of the SRV6KRIL a pure sine wave?
Yes, the output is a sine wave, with 1% harmonic distortion and a crest factor of 3:1. The power is continuously regenerated by double conversion, with no transfer time.
What input voltage does the SRV6KRIL accept?
From 176 to 300 V at full load, and from as low as 110 V if the load does not exceed 60%. The accepted frequency ranges from 40 to 70 Hz with auto-sensing: a wide range, designed for an unstable grid.
Can the SRV6KRIL be serviced without powering down the servers?
Yes, an automatic and manual internal bypass lets mains power flow through to the equipment. Conversely, an emergency power-off button cuts everything in a single action.
Where should the SRV6KRIL be installed?
In a rack or a technical room: it is rated at 55 dB and dissipates 1172 BTU/h. That heat must be able to escape — a closed cupboard is not suitable, and neither is an office.
How can the SRV6KRIL be monitored?
Through the USB port, supplied with its cable, the RS-232 serial port, and a free slot that accepts a network management card. A multifunction LCD console shows the status on the front panel.
Is the APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV6KRIL new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for a period of 2 years. The batteries fully recharge in 5 hours and are rated for 3 to 5 years of service. The datasheet covers the rest.
Three reinforced 16 A outlets for power-hungry hardware, eight server outlets, and batteries that are changed without cutting the power. Under 40 dB at one metre, in a rack as in a tower.
•8 C13 outlets: the format of computer and server power cords
•3 C19 outlets: reinforced 16 A outlets for power-hungry equipment
•Terminal block input: fixed wiring, to be installed by an electrician
A free-standing tower on castors, with an LCD screen showing the load, the battery status and the voltages. Around 16 minutes of runtime at half load, extendable with up to four battery cabinets.
