nJoy Balder 3000 Online UPS - 3000 W / 3000 VA - 8 C13 outlets + 1 C19 outlet (PWUP-OL300BA-AZ)

Four controllable outlets make it possible to switch off secondary equipment and save the battery. Around 11 minutes of runtime at half load (1500 W), in a 2U rack as well as in tower form.

An online UPS to protect servers and sensitive equipment: online double conversion, 3000 VA / 3000 W.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How long does the Balder 3000 run on battery?
26 minutes at 25% load, 11 minutes at 50% (1500 W), 6 minutes at 75% and 3 minutes at full load. It is the headroom you leave that determines the runtime, far more than the capacity printed on the label.
Does this 3000 VA unit really deliver 3000 W?
Yes: its output power factor is 1, so the full 3000 VA is available in watts. On a desktop UPS at 0.55, only 1650 would remain for the same stated rating.
Which outlets does the Balder 3000 have?
Eight C13 outlets and one heavy-duty 16 A C19 outlet for a power-hungry device. Four of the outlets are programmable: they cut power to secondary devices to keep the runtime for what matters most.
How does the Balder 3000 connect to the mains?
Via a heavy-duty C20 inlet, the 16 A format — not the C14 found on a desktop UPS. The accepted voltage ranges from 160 to 300 V at full load, and from as low as 110 V at half load.
Can the Balder 3000 be rack-mounted or used as a tower?
Both: a 2U convertible chassis, 88 mm high and 438 wide, but 630 mm deep — measure your cabinet before ordering. Allow for 27.5 kg.
Can the batteries of the Balder 3000 be replaced without shutting it down?
Yes, they are hot-swappable, and the unit takes up to six HR09122F modules. An external battery pack is available as an option to go further.
Is the output waveform of the Balder 3000 a pure sine wave?
Yes, a pure sine wave, with harmonic distortion below 2% on a linear load and 4% on a non-linear load. Switching to battery is instantaneous, with no interruption of any kind.
How do you monitor the Balder 3000?
Through a USB port, an RS-232 serial port and an intelligent slot that accepts an optional SNMP or Modbus card. Two RJ11/RJ45 ports also protect the network or telephone line against surges.
How much power does the Balder 3000 itself consume?
Very little: its efficiency reaches 91% in normal operation and up to 97% in ECO mode. On a unit that runs day and night, these few percentage points show up directly on the electricity bill.
Is the nJoy Balder 3000 UPS new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 3 years. It stays below 50 dB, recharges to 95% in 3 hours and features an internal bypass and cold start. The datasheet covers the rest.
