How many ports on the Zyxel GS1900-24EP provide PoE+ power?
Twelve of the twenty-four ports, in PoE+ 802.3at up to 30 W each, within a 130 W total. The other twelve remain standard Gigabit ports, for devices that already have their own power.
Can PoE power be switched off at certain times?
Yes, PoE scheduling makes this possible. Turning off Wi-Fi access points at night or at weekends reduces power consumption and limits the wireless network's exposure outside working hours.
What can be configured on this switch?
VLANs, quality of service, IGMP snooping, LACP aggregation and STP and RSTP spanning tree, from a web interface with a step-by-step configuration wizard — useful for initial commissioning.
Is this switch noisy in a rack?
