What PoE budget does the TL-SG2428P offer across its 24 ports?
250 W in total, with a maximum of 30 W per port to the 802.3af and 802.3at standards. Twenty cameras at 12 W fit within the budget; eight Wi-Fi access points at 30 W already use it up. Four Gigabit SFP slots complete the front panel for fibre.
Can this switch route between VLANs?
Yes, with static routing: up to 32 IPv4 or IPv6 routes across 16 IP interfaces, with DHCP server and DHCP relay per interface, per VLAN and at Layer 2. Traffic between segments then stays within the switch.
How do you deploy this switch at a remote site?
With Omada zero-touch provisioning: the configuration is prepared remotely, without sending a technician on site. This requires an Omada cloud controller; the OC200 or OC300 hardware controller and the software version cover other needs.
