Frequently asked questions about this product
How many PoE+ ports does the ZyXEL XGS1935-52HP have?
48 ports at 100/1000 Mbps, all PoE+ 802.3at, i.e. up to 30 W per port. The switch can therefore power a whole floor of cameras, phones and Wi-Fi access points from a single rack.
Is the 375 W PoE budget enough for the 48 ports?
It is the total budget to be shared out, not 30 W per port simultaneously. 375 W easily covers 48 ordinary cameras or phones; however, filling all 48 sockets with power-hungry devices would exceed this budget. Add up the actual consumption of your devices.
What are the 4 10 Gbps SFP+ ports for?
For uplinks to the network core: forty-eight Gigabit ports can saturate a single link, hence these four 10 Gbps optical slots. SFP+ modules are chosen according to the fibre installed.
What level of management does this switch offer?
Layer 2 management, with SNMP monitoring and IPv6 support. VLANs, quality of service and PoE port monitoring are controlled from the switch's management interface.
How much power should you allow for the XGS1935-52HP?
Up to 470.1 W, once the 375 W of PoE is being delivered. It is this value that sizes the UPS and the rack's thermal calculation: a 48-port PoE switch gives off as much heat as a small server.
How much rack space does this switch take up?
440 × 270 × 43 mm and 4.1 kg: 1U high, 27 cm deep. It requires a standard 19-inch rack and proper ventilation, given the power it delivers.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. This is the ZyXEL XGS1935-52HP, reference XGS1935-52HP-EU0101F.
48 Gigabit ports, half of them PoE+ (ports 1 to 24), for mixed SME or campus deployments — simplified control from the Aruba Instant On app, with no subscription.
•24 of the 48 ports in PoE+ (802.3at), ports 1 to 24
•Up to 30 W per port — Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras, IP phones
High-density PoE+ access switch (802.3af/at standard) for IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points and VoIP phones. 176 Gbps switching capacity, L2+ functions and lifetime cloud management through Ruijie Cloud.
Total PoE+ budget of 384 W to power a large number of cameras, Wi-Fi access points and IP phones. 104 Gbps switching capacity, driven from the Omada SDN cloud.
