A high-power online UPS for critical infrastructure: online double conversion, 6000 VA / 6000 W. Technology & protection: power is constantly rebuilt — the equipment receives flawless power without ever touching the mains, with zero transfer time. Maximum protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise. Power: 6000 VA for 6000 W of real power (power factor of 1) — all of the rated power is available in watts. Outlets: 6 C13 outlets + 4 heavy-duty C19 outlets + terminal block connection. Active cooling (≈ 55 dB), to be installed in a technical room. LCD display: shows load, battery level and remaining runtime at a glance — so you can monitor the UPS without any software. Designed, for example, for server racks, data centres and critical infrastructure. Remember to check how much power your equipment draws and to choose the rating according to the runtime you need.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Does this 6 kVA UPS really deliver 6000 W?
Yes, its power factor is 1: the full 6000 VA is available in watts. On a UPS with a 0.8 power factor, only 4800 would remain — that is 1200 W less equipment for the same footprint.
How long does the SRT6KXLI run on battery?
8 minutes at 50% load, i.e. 3000 W, and 5 minutes at 70%, i.e. 4200 W. A full recharge, on the other hand, is very fast: 1 hour 30 minutes, which reduces vulnerability between two outages in quick succession.
Is the network management card included with the SRT6KXLI?
Yes, a Web/SNMP management card is supplied in the box — which is rare, as it is almost always sold separately. The UPS also has an RJ-45 10/100 Base-T port, an RJ-45 serial port, a USB port, a contact closure and a SmartSlot.
Are all the SRT6KXLI's outputs battery-backed?
Yes, all of them: six C13 outlets, four heavy-duty C19 outlets, two IEC jumpers and even the 3-wire terminal block output are powered by the battery. No output is reserved for surge protection alone.
How is the SRT6KXLI connected to the electrical installation?
Via a 3-wire fixed connection — phase, neutral and earth: there is no plug to connect. The wiring must be done by an electrician, with a dedicated circuit to be provided at the distribution board before delivery.
How much space does the SRT6KXLI take up, and how much does it weigh?
Only 17.4 cm wide, for 71.9 cm deep and 43.2 cm high, and 60 kg. It is a narrow but long and heavy tower unit: check the available depth and plan for two people.
What is in the SRT6KXLI box?
The Web/SNMP management card, a temperature probe, removable feet, a USB cable, the software CD, the documentation CD, the installation guide and the warranty card. The probe lets you monitor the room temperature from the monitoring system.
What battery does the SRT6KXLI use, and how is it replaced?
A sealed, maintenance-free lead-acid battery with suspended electrolyte, whose replacement part number is APCRBC140. The internal battery is covered for two years.
Can you work on the UPS without powering down the racks?
Yes, thanks to its automatic and manual internal bypass, and conversely an emergency power off switch lets you cut everything in one move. The surge protector also absorbs 480 joules.
Is the APC Smart-UPS SRT SRT6KXLI new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for 3 years. It delivers a sine wave output, accepts an input of 160 to 275 V between 40 and 70 Hz, and stays below 55 dBA — it belongs in a technical room. The datasheet covers the rest.
