A high-end online UPS, convertible between rack and tower: online double conversion, 1500 VA / 1500 W, 2U format.
Technology & protection: power is fully and continuously regenerated — your servers are never exposed to the mains, with zero transfer time. Complete protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise.
Power: 1500 VA for 1500 W of real power — its power factor of 1 makes all of the rated power available in watts.
Outlets: 8 C13-type outlets (the standard computer and server power cord).

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the network management card supplied with this 9PX 1500?
Yes, the network management card is in the box — that is what the “N” in the reference 9PX1500IRTN indicates. Remote monitoring and control are operational from the moment the unit is commissioned.
Does this 1500 VA unit really deliver 1500 W?
Yes: the power factor is 1, so the full 1500 VA is available in watts. On a desktop line-interactive UPS at 0.6, only 900 would be left.
Which outlets does the 9PX 1500 have?
Eight C13 outlets on the output side, with one C14 inlet. Two IEC output cords come with the unit: beyond two machines, you will need your own cords.
Can a 1500 VA online UPS stay close to a workstation?
This one, yes: less than 35 dBA, which is remarkably low for a double-conversion unit. Allow for 18.9 kg in a 2U chassis 440 mm wide and 450 deep.
Does the 9PX 1500 install in a rack or as a tower?
Both, brackets supplied: two 19-inch mounting brackets, two universal rails and two stands for vertical installation, plus a cable locking system. No additional kit to order.
What voltage range does the 9PX 1500 accept?
From 176 to 276 V, at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz, auto-selected. Double conversion with power factor correction also limits the harmonics fed back into the upstream mains.
How do you connect the 9PX 1500 to a monitoring system or a server?
Through the supplied network card, a USB port, an RS-232 serial port, and three mini terminal blocks: remote on/off, remote power off and relay output. The USB and serial cables are in the box.
Is the Eaton 9PX 1500 (9PX1500IRTN) new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. It delivers a pure sine wave, displays its status on a multilingual graphical LCD screen, and its output voltage can be set to 200, 208, 220, 230 or 240 V.
