Does this 10 kVA unit really deliver 10,000 W?
Yes: its power factor is 1, so the full 10,000 VA is available in watts. That is what makes it possible to power an entire server rack from a single unit.
Does the SRT10KRMXLI accept a three-phase input?
Yes: it is connected via a terminal block, in 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase, depending on the installation. In both cases it is a hardwired connection, to be installed by an electrician.
Is the network management card supplied?
Yes, a Web/SNMP management card is supplied, together with a temperature probe to monitor the room from the same interface. Nothing extra to order to control the UPS remotely.
What outputs does the SRT10KRMXLI offer?
Six C13 outlets, four heavy-duty 16 A C19 outlets, three IEC jumpers, and optional hardwired terminal-block output for fixed distribution installed by an electrician.
How much rack space does the SRT10KRMXLI take up?
6U high, for 111.8 kg. At this weight, installation requires handling equipment and a checked floor; the unit goes at the bottom of the cabinet.
How long does it take to recharge the batteries?
1 h 30 for a full recharge — very fast for this power rating. The runtime can still be extended with SRT192RMBP2 additional battery packs.
Can the UPS be serviced without shutting down the rack?
Yes, thanks to an automatic and manual internal bypass. Conversely, an emergency power off switch lets you cut everything in one move, as the regulations for a technical room often require.
Is the APC Smart-UPS SRT SRT10KRMXLI new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for a period of 3 years. It delivers a pure sine wave and runs at 55 dBA: fan-cooled, to be installed in a technical room. The datasheet covers the rest.
