A high-power online UPS for server rooms: online double conversion, 5000 VA / 4500 W, rack format. Technology & protection: power is constantly rebuilt — the equipment receives flawless power without ever touching the mains, with zero transfer time. Maximum protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise. Power: 5000 VA for 4500 W of real power — enough to run several servers and network equipment. Runtime: its battery takes over during a power cut, giving you time to shut the machines down cleanly; runtime can be extended with additional battery modules. Outlets: 6 C13 outlets + 4 heavy-duty C19 outlets; terminal block input connection. Active cooling, to be installed in a rack or technical room. Designed, for example, for server racks or critical business infrastructure. Remember to check how much power your equipment draws and to choose the rating according to the runtime you need.

Frequently asked questions about this product
How long does the SRT5KRMXLI run on battery?
11 minutes at 50% load, i.e. 2250 W, and 7 minutes at 70%, i.e. 3150 W. A full recharge is then very fast: 1 h 30, which narrows the window of vulnerability between two power cuts.
Is the network management card already installed?
Yes, a Web/SNMP management card is supplied with the UPS — which is rare, as it is almost always sold separately. It comes with a temperature probe, to monitor the room from the same interface.
How does the SRT5KRMXLI connect to the electrical installation?
Via a 3-wire terminal block — phase, neutral, earth: there is no plug to insert. It is a hardwired connection, to be entrusted to an electrician, with a dedicated circuit to be prepared at the distribution board before delivery.
What outputs does the SRT5KRMXLI offer?
Six C13 outlets, four heavy-duty 16 A C19 outlets and two IEC jumpers. C19 is the format for high-current equipment: blade chassis, storage arrays, high-power servers.
How much rack space does the SRT5KRMXLI take up?
3U high (13 cm), 43.2 cm wide and 71.9 cm deep, for 54.4 kg. This depth rules out shallow cabinets, and the weight means several people are needed to rack it, at the bottom of the cabinet.
Does this 5 kVA unit deliver 4500 usable watts?
Yes, thanks to a power factor of 0.9: 4500 W actually available for 5000 VA stated. It is this figure in watts that you should compare with the combined consumption of the rack.
Can the SRT5KRMXLI's runtime be extended?
Yes, with SRT192RMBP additional battery packs. This is the intended way to go beyond the eleven nominal minutes without changing UPS.
Can the UPS be serviced without shutting down the rack?
Yes, an automatic and manual internal bypass keeps the equipment powered: the automatic one in the event of a fault, the manual one for scheduled work on the unit.
Is the APC Smart-UPS SRT SRT5KRMXLI new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for a period of 3 years. It delivers a pure sine wave, accepts an input of 40 to 70 Hz and runs at 55 dBA: fan-cooled, to be installed in a technical room. The datasheet covers the rest.
