Product overview

Online UPS to protect servers or sensitive equipment: online double-conversion, 2000 VA / 1600 W.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How long does the Echo Pro 2000 last on battery?
7 minutes at 50% load, i.e. 800 W, and 17 minutes at 25%. Recharging then brings the battery back to 90% in 4 hours. In other words, halving the load more than doubles the runtime.
What input voltage does the Echo Pro 2000 accept?
From 80 to 300 V — an exceptionally wide window. On a grid that regularly dips to low voltage, the UPS keeps regenerating the power instead of switching to battery and draining it in a few cycles.
Can you choose the Echo Pro 2000's output voltage?
Yes: 208, 220, 230 or 240 V, as chosen by the user, with the output frequency held at 50 or 60 Hz within ±0.5 Hz. This setting is made once at installation, according to the voltage your equipment expects.
Can the Echo Pro 2000 shut down a Synology NAS on its own?
Yes, Synology NAS compatibility is stated: connected via USB HID, the NAS detects the outage and cleanly unmounts its volumes before the battery runs out. This is what avoids a volume rebuild on restart.
How much surge energy does the Echo Pro 2000 absorb?
590 joules on its mains input — well above average for UPSs of this size. Input surge protection is complemented by protection against surges inside the unit itself.
Why does 2000 VA give only 1600 W?
The output power factor is 0.8: 1600 W actually available, which is still well above the 0.6 of an entry-level UPS. On the input side, the power factor reaches 0.99: the UPS puts virtually no pollution back onto the upstream grid.
Can a 2000 VA online UPS fit under a desk?
Yes: it is rated at less than 40 dB in a tower case measuring 390 × 151 × 225 mm and weighing 16.6 kg. That is very quiet for a double-conversion unit: it does not require a dedicated technical room.
Can the Echo Pro 2000 be used with a generator?
Yes, generator compatibility is stated. Combined with the 80 to 300 V input range, this makes it a solid choice where the grid often cuts out and a generator takes over.
What efficiency does the Echo Pro 2000 reach, and with which batteries?
Up to 96% in ECO mode, with four internal GP07122L batteries. ECO mode saves energy by lightening the power conditioning: keep it for periods when the grid is clean.
Can two Echo Pro 2000 units be combined to double the power?
No, parallel operation is not supported on this model. For more power, you need to move up to a higher-capacity UPS — the Echo Pro also comes in a 3000 VA version.
Is the nJoy Echo Pro 2000 UPS new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for 3 years. It restarts and recharges automatically when power returns, and shows its status on an LCD screen. The datasheet covers the rest.
