Ports: 9 Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RJ45 ports + 1 Gigabit SFP/RJ45 combo port for a copper or fibre uplink, depending on your installation.
PoE: the first 8 ports deliver PoE+ 802.3af/at (up to 30 W per port, 123 W total budget) — power cameras and access points with no mains outlet nearby. Automatic PoE recovery if a device fails.

What PoE budget does the TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE offer?
123 W in total, up to 30 W per port in PoE+ 802.3af/at, on eight of the ten ports. Enough to power eight standard cameras or phones, or four power-hungry devices such as dual-band Wi-Fi access points.
What is the combo port on this switch for?
For the uplink, over RJ45 copper or SFP fibre, as you choose — never both at once. This lets you connect the switch to the router in the same room, or to a remote rack over fibre.
What can be configured on this Easy Smart switch?
VLANs — port-based, tag-based or MTU-based —, quality of service, link aggregation and loop prevention, from a web interface or the Easy Smart Configuration Utility.
What happens if a PoE camera hangs?
Automatic PoE recovery restarts it by cutting and then restoring power to the port, with no site visit. It is the feature that saves the most trips on a video surveillance installation.
Does this PoE switch make any noise?
No: it runs without a fan, which eliminates noise and reduces power consumption. Its desktop format means it can sit in a shared room rather than in a closed rack.
What performance does this switch offer?
20 Gbps of switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps, with a 4,000-entry MAC address table and IGMP snooping to limit the spread of multicast video streams.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
