An online UPS for servers and sensitive equipment: online double conversion, 3000 VA / 2700 W, tower format. Technology & protection: power is fully and continuously regenerated — your servers are never exposed to the mains, with zero transfer time. Complete protection against outages, surges, voltage fluctuations and electrical noise. Power: 3000 VA for 2700 W of real power (0.9 power factor) — almost all of the rated power is available in watts. Runtime: about 11 minutes at half load (1350 W), 7 minutes at 70%. Outlets: 8 C13 outlets + 2 heavy-duty C19 outlets. Active cooling (≈ 55 dB), ideally installed in a technical room. LCD display: shows load, battery level and remaining runtime at a glance — so you can monitor the UPS without any software. Ideal, for example, for servers, storage or network equipment. Remember to check how much power your equipment draws and to choose the rating according to the runtime you need.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Can the SRT3000XLI be plugged into an ordinary wall socket?
Yes: it comes with a 2.44 m detachable cord suited to the country, and accepts C20, Schuko CEE 7 or British connections. No electrician is needed, unlike UPSs of comparable power that are hardwired to a terminal block.
How long does the SRT3000XLI run on battery?
11 minutes at 50% load, i.e. 1350 W, and 7 minutes at 70%, i.e. 1890 W. A full recharge then takes 3 hours, and runtime can be extended with SRT96BP additional battery packs.
Are all the SRT3000XLI's outlets battery-backed?
Yes, all twelve: eight C13 outlets, two heavy-duty C19 outlets and two IEC jumpers, all powered by the battery. No output is limited to surge protection alone.
Why does 3000 VA give 2700 W on this model?
Its power factor of 0.9 makes almost all of the apparent power available in watts: 3000 × 0.9 = 2700 W. A desktop UPS with a 0.6 power factor would offer only 1800 for the same rated power — and it is in watts that you size a UPS.
Can this model be installed as a tower or in a rack?
Both: the chassis converts between rack and tower, and removable feet are supplied for upright installation. Allow for 8.5 cm wide, 63.5 cm deep and 43.2 cm high, weighing 31.3 kg.
Can you work on the UPS without powering down the servers?
Yes, thanks to its automatic and manual internal bypass: the automatic bypass takes over on an internal fault, while the manual one lets you deliberately switch to direct mains power for scheduled maintenance.
What input voltage does the SRT3000XLI accept?
160 to 275 V, at a frequency automatically detected between 40 and 70 Hz. This wide range lets it cope with a badly degraded supply without drawing on the battery, and run behind an irregular power source.
How do you monitor the SRT3000XLI remotely?
Via a USB port — cable supplied —, an RJ-45 serial port, and a Smart-Slot for a network management card, to be ordered separately. A multifunction LCD console shows the status on the front panel.
What battery does the SRT3000XLI use, and how is it changed?
A pre-installed battery, whose replacement part number is APCRBC152. It recharges in 3 hours after an outage, and runtime can be extended with additional battery packs.
Is the APC Smart-UPS SRT SRT3000XLI new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for 3 years. It delivers a pure sine wave output and stays below 55 dBA: with active cooling, it is best installed in a technical room. The datasheet covers the rest.
