Frequently asked questions about this product

How are the ports on the ZyXEL XGS1935-28 laid out?
24 100/1000 Mbps ports and 4 10 Gbps SFP+ slots reserved for uplinks. The four optical links prevent 24 active workstations from saturating the output to the network core.
Can this switch be managed from the cloud or locally?
Both, with NebulaFlex: centralised cloud management for devices spread across several sites, or standalone operation from the switch's interface. You choose the mode to suit your organisation, without changing hardware.
Does this switch supply PoE?
No, none of its ports supplies power. It is the non-PoE version of the XGS1935 series: its power consumption is in fact limited to 23.2 W with 24 active ports.
What level of management does it offer?
Layer 2 management, with SNMP monitoring and IPv6 compatibility. VLANs, quality of service and port monitoring are configured from the switch's interface or from the cloud console.
How much rack space does this switch take up?
440 × 270 × 43 mm and 3.1 kg: 1U high, 27 cm deep, designed for 19-inch rack mounting. A narrow wall cabinet will not be suitable.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. This is the ZyXEL XGS1935-28, a smart managed switch with 24 Gigabit ports and 4 10 Gbps links.
